Crab, il tavolo (the table)

Fondamentalmente un tavolo è formato da un piano e da 4 gambe.
Troppo facile.
Come usufruire quindi della forma delle doghe per realizzare qualcosa di diverso?




Basically, a table consists of a top and 4 legs.
Too easy.
 Then, how to use the shape of the staves to make something different?








Come spesso avviene, basta attingere dalla natura. 
Un granchio come modello, un'idea che prende forma.



As often happens, you just draw from nature.
A crab as a model, an idea that takes shape.





Il risultato è un tavolo inconsueto, un netto contrasto tra il colore delle doghe invecchiate ed il piano di vetro temperato.
Esile ed allo stesso tempo robusto.




The result is an  unusual table, a marked contrast between the color of the aged staves and the table top of  tempered glass.
Slight and, at the same time, robust.
